RCA Type 50-A Inductor Microphone

$350.00 USD

Here's an RCA 50-A Inductor Microphone from the early 1930's! These early microphones can be seen being used for a variety of different famous speeches throughout the 1930's and 40's. The heavy brass housing is extremely rugged. After after being almost 100 years old, this microphone still works perfectly. The sound can be described by today's standards as "lo-fi" but has an authentic sound that would be difficult to recreate. This microphone still has its original connector, which can be difficult to find (a new XLR cable was installed). If you're looking for a historic microphone with a colored sound, this is the microphone for you. Grab this Type 50-A microphone from the early days of RCA.
