Sennheiser MD409 U3 Dynamic Microphone
Here’s a Sennheiser MD409 U3 Dynamic Microphone from the 1980’s! Sennheiser made a few different versions of the MD409, and the U3 was one of the last models that featured the original 409 capsule design. While a few parts changes were made since the original 1960’s MD409N, the U3 sounds very similar and has the same design. U3’s tend to have issues with the foam falling apart and affecting the dynamic elements diaphragm - this one is clean inside with new foam. Overall this microphone is sounding great and is a clean example that will come in the original case. These are great on guitar amps, vocals, drums, and more.
