Here’s a Shure 330 Ribbon Microphone from the 1950’s! Shure made two general purpose ribbon microphones, the 315 and 330. The 315 was the bi-directional model, and the 330 was the uni-direction model. These 330’s have a nice crisp ribbon sound for guitar amps, drums, horns, vocals, and more. Unlike other ribbons, the 330 doesn’t have a huge proximity effect and can be used up-close. Because these are the closed back ribbons, they have nice rejection. This 330 is in great shape for it’s age and has been serviced with a new ribbon. If you’ve been looking for a classic ribbon at a nice price-point, this is the microphone for you!
