Here’s a late 1970’s Shure PE548V Unidyne IV dynamic microphone! Shure released the Unidyne IV series as their top of the line microphones before they were replaced by the SM7 after just a few years of production. The 548 has an added layer of midrange that gives it an advantage in some applications over a typical 545. This microphone would be great for vocals, guitar amps, snare, and more! This Shure PE548V now has a bypassed transformer (making it transformer-less and low impedance) and a bypassed volume knob (it was noisy).
