Shure SM7 Dynamic Microphone (Made In USA)
Here’s an original Shure SM7 dynamic microphone from the early 1980’s. Shure only made the SM7 in their USA factory for a few years before switching over to a factory in Mexico. The original USA SM7’s are sought after and also sound a bit different than today’s SM7B (there are some really great comparison videos out there if you are curious about the differences!). To my ear the SM7 sounds more natural and has more clarity in the high end compared to the SM7B. The SM7 is a classic microphone and owning one of the originals would be a great addition to any studio! I’d recommend this SM7 for vocals, all guitars, drums (I’ve seen quite a few people using them on hi-hat lately), and more. This SM7 is in great condition for it’s age and is sounding as it should! It will come with a brand new pop filter. As typical with these the stand mount is a tad loose but won't go anywhere after the microphone is mounted. Grab one of Shure’s most famous microphones in this original SM7!
