Shure Unidyne III 546 Dynamic Microphone
Here’s a vintage Unidyne III Shure 546 from the early 1960’s! These dynamic microphones were made in the USA back when Shure had their highest quality control. The 546 has a different transformer than the other Shure 545 models that gives it a fuller sound - it was the top of the line shock-mounted version of the famous 545. 545’s have an advantage over modern day SM57’s as they are more natural and bright. This microphone has been serviced and is ready for the studio. While this one is working great, it is missing the cover over the impedance switch (this doesn't affect the sound in any way). The switch can be intermittent (despite a good cleaning), so it's best to set this one to the desired impedance and leave it as is. Grab this classic dynamic microphone from Shure!
