Telefunken TD25 Dynamic Microphone
Here’s a Telefunken TD25 Dynamic Microphone from the 1960’s! Telefunken rebranded many different microphones - this low cost microphone was rebranded and sold with tape recorders. I went in and bypassed the high impedance transformer in this microphone, adding a new balanced cable and XLR connector. This is a great color or trash microphone if you’re looking for a vintage texture for your sources. The TD25 has a capsule from an unknown maker (though it was probably also AKG).
