Toshiba Type C Ribbon Microphone
Here’s a Toshiba Type C Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! These were made in Japan and while some call them copies of the RCA 74-B, these are smaller in size and have a very different motor inside. Toshiba made many different clones or similar models to the RCA microphones that were being produced in the 60’s (they cloned the RCA BK-5B, 77, 44 models, and more). Like most Toshiba ribbon microphones, this one was made with high quality parts and has a great sound. This Type C has a very high output for an old ribbon microphone, and makes a perfect match with all guitar uses in the studio. This one has been checked out and the original ribbon inside is still in perfect shape! If you’re looking for a unique ribbon for the studio that is versatile across many different sources, this is the microphone for you. Grab this Type C ribbon microphone from Toshiba!
