Toshiba Type F Ribbon Microphone
Here's a Toshiba Type F Ribbon Microphone from the 1960's! These Japanese ribbons may look similar to an RCA 74-A, but they have a very different sound. These Type F's have a long ribbon (one of the longest that I service) with a very large proximity effect and low end to go with them. If you're looking for a big sounding ribbon for drum uses, guitar amps, and more, this is the microphone for you. These also have a rotating baffle behind the ribbon that either blocks or opens up the backside of the ribbon via a switch on the bottom of the microphone. This Type F has been serviced with a ribbon replacement, new XLR cable, and new grill cloth. Grab this Type F Ribbon Microphone from Toshiba!
