Toshiba Type G Ribbon Microphone
Here's a Toshiba Type G Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! Toshiba made high quality ribbon microphones out of Japan that resembled some of RCA’s designs. This Type G resembles the cosmetics of the RCA 77, however the internals differ (significantly different ribbon motor) and the Type G has a 6 position bass roll-off. These microphones have great high end / mid range and a solid low end response that translate well on guitars, drums, vocals, horns, etc (these are very versatile!). This Type G has been serviced with new a ribbon, XLR Cable, and grill cloth. There is some light spots of corrosion / wear but overall this one looks good and works perfectly. If you’ve been looking for a classic looking, versatile ribbon microphone, this is the one for you! Grab this Type G ribbon microphone from Toshiba!
