Here's a Turner Model 77 Ribbon & Dynamic Microphone from the 1950's! Turner was based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and made many different high quality USA made ribbon and dynamic microphones for PA, studio and military uses. This Turner 77 was one of their top of the line models, which had both a ribbon and dynamic microphone in one body. Many of the dynamic microphones in these microphones didn't survive, however this one is in excellent condition. Unlike the Altec 639, these 77's have a transformer that cuts out a good amount of the low end. If you're looking for a unique ribbon with great high end, this is the microphone for you.
