Here's a pair of AKG made Uher M136's from the 1960's. AKG sold many of their microphones and capsules to different companies. Uher is an example of a company that almost exclusively used AKG capsules. This pair has a nice mid-rangey sound that gives slight lo-fi textures. I've gone in and re-wired these for balanced outputs to get the most out of the capsules. This is a nice pair for experimenting, etc. that would work well on a variety of sources!
