Victor MV-105L (Aiwa VM-12) Ribbon Microphone
Here’s an Aiwa VM12 (re-branded by Victor) Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! The Victor Company of Japan is more widely known as “JVC” today, and rebranded these microphones to sell with their Hifi audio products. Aside from the branding, these microphones are identical to any other Aiwa VM12 ribbon microphones. The Aiwa VM12 has a different flavor than other Aiwa ribbons (VM15, 16, etc) as the ribbon has a wider width than most other models they made. This accounts for a thicker low end, but more of a rolled off top end overall. This VM-12 has been serviced with a new ribbon, a new cable to XLR, and comes in its original case. Grab this rebranded VM12 ribbon microphone from Aiwa!
